We clean, feed, give tours, make enrichment, do admin work and of course do some landscaping on the property! We have over 140 big cats, which is alot of enclosures to maintain year round, watch as Big Cat Rescue staff and volunteers remove trees from two bobcat enclosures, one which fell over night and one which gets pulled down to prevent problems in the future. All the enclosures at Big Cat Rescue are made of two sections so we could easily separate the cats into one section whilst we worked in the other! How To Lay a Permeable Block Paving Driveway

Posted on May 31st, 2010 in Landscaping | 5 Comments »

Leading UK hard landscaping manufacturing company Marshalls plc recently challenged Scotlands premier TV garden show, Beechgrove Garden, to create a big splash to demonstrate the effectiveness of their domestic permeable paving. The step by step feature shows Marshalls installing one of its leading ranges of permeable paving, Drivesett Argent Priora. Then in a dramatic finish to the piece, the Beechgrove Garden team fill the bucket of a three ton dumper truck with water and tip it, all at once, on to the 40 square metre driveway. This equates to approximately 1100 litres of water saturating the space, well in excess of a hundred year storm landing on the area and all in just a few seconds! Having only one chance to film the presenters true and honest reaction, Marshalls think it is fair to say the faces, words and images will say it all. These kinds of volumes of water over large areas have now been recognised as contributing to the catastrophic flooding experienced in recent years throughout the UK in our urban areas. In fact, 95% of rainfall in built up areas finds its way quickly into the drainage system and adds to the risk of flooding in heavy downpours. This prompted the Government to introduce new Legislation (England & Wales Only) on developing a front garden area and why Beechgrove Garden asked Marshalls to demonstrate this innovative paving.

The Sims 3 – Building a House 15 – Dans la Maison – Part 2 – The Pool Area

Hello! The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com This house that I’m building was a request that I accept while I was doing my Coloured Set (I’m still not taking any more) by Ded0099, who gave me a very good brief, which was why I accepted. As I said earlier, I’m going to build and upload this house in short little bite sized pieces so I wont end up failing it 3/4 of the way through. I like the way the house is slwoly becoming great, the pool design is nice but I wish there were more fountains… Tell me what you think, and the next part I will work on the front and back yard! Dan la Maison took 5-6 hours to build altogether and costs $273 000 furnished and $160 unfurnished. Enjoy!!!

Top Gear Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG Kompressor

DaimlerChrysler offers a series of sport utility vehicles to the public under the Mercedes-Benz brand as G-Class. Commonly referred to as the G-Wagen, short for Geländewagen (or Cross-Country Vehicle), Mercedes secured military contracts for the vehicle in the late 1970s and offered a civilian version to the public in 1979. Never an entirely Mercedes product, the G-Wagen was a joint Steyr-Daimler-Puch development and are assembled by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. Mercedes’ part was to provide the drivetrain as well as interior design on civilian vehicles, and Steyr retained distribution rights in certain regions under the Puch name. Among the engines offered in the G-Class for the 2004 model year is a 5.5-litre V8. Major models include the G500, and G55 AMG. Marking its 25th anniversary, the 2005 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG was relaunched as the G55 Kompressor or G55K and received a boost in power, thanks to a 5.5-liter, supercharged V8 developing 469 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. W463 The chassis was revised for 1990 as the W463 with anti-lock brakes and a full trio of electronically-locking differentials. The V8-powered 500GE was new for 1993, catering to more of a luxury than off-road crowd with only center and rear differential locks and a luxurious cabin of leather and wood. This luxury-Wagen lasted just two years, however. All G-Wagens began using Mercedes-Benz’s new letter-first naming scheme in 1994. The range was refreshed again in 1997, including the

Steven’s Coaster Town

Steven’s Coaster Town After several days of work, lots of landscaping, building and ride designing, here it is! This is not the same city landscape that was used in my “City Coasters” and “Indoor pool and zoo” videos, every building in this video was created for this park, and no building is repeated. The idea behind this park is that the rides are placed throughout the city instead of inside a central theme park, although the majority of the ride-buildings are on the sea-front. There is a miniature railway to transport people around the town, with three stations. There are two flat-rides on the sea-front, An Enterprise and a Kaos. The peeps can also go boating on the canal in either rowing boats, or “bumper” boats. The Park also contains an open-air mini-golf, an indoor go-karting centre, a restaurant on top of one of the office buildings, and three roller-coasters.
